According to Wikipedia, Twitter, Inc. was an American social media company based in San Francisco, California, which operated and was named for its flagship social media network prior to its rebrand as X. In addition to Twitter, the company previously operated the Vine short video app and Periscope live streaming service. In April 2023, Twitter merged with X Holdings and ceased to be an independent company, becoming a part of X Corp. Twitter was created by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams in March 2006 and was launched that July.
By 2012, more than 100 million users tweeted 340 million tweets a day. The company went public in November 2013. By 2019, Twitter had more than 330 million monthly active users.

Was this the first time I used the platform?
This actually was my first time using the platform and downloading the app. I
completely forgot that it's no longer 'Twitter', but 'X' now. While looking at the history of it
and watching videos, I remembered and I learned some new things. I think it was last year or
2022 if I remember correctly I heard on the news that Twitter was going to be renamed as 'X'.
However, I didn't know that it was already done.
Did I like the platform used?
I do like this platform. There's a lot of content to look at, whether it be pictures, videos, text/ tweets, news info and you can also find links to other content. However, I preferred/ liked the name 'Twitter' better than the name 'X'. I also liked the Twitter logo better as well.
Was it easy to use?
This platform was easy to navigate, it's similar to Instagram and Facebook.

What do you think are some of the best ways to use the platform?
One of the best ways to use this platform is by jumping on relevant/ interesting trending topics and engaging/interacting more with other users than just broadcasting or posting.
What makes the platform different from other platforms?
One difference is Microblogging. Twitter/X is the most liked/favorite microblogging platform. With microblogging messages/text/tweets are very short and usually less than 150 characters consisting of short sentences and links. Another difference is that texts/tweets are made public by default. This means anyone can view/see your tweet and respond to it. Also, this platform is known for its fast-paced nature which makes it a popular platform for real-time news/breaking news, updates, events, trends, and of course to interact with others.
How can business owners use the platform?
Businesses can use this platform to advertise. In their tweets or microblogs, they can use
hashtags, especially hashtags that are currently trending so that their content gets more
recognition, and interacting with their audience and influencers. Also, businesses can provide value
to their followers by giving deals, this platform can be used to get feedback
from customers, increase brand awareness, and distribute information.
